The Salutation of the Month of Rajab* by Al-Habīb Abu Bakr Al-‘Adny Bin ‘Ali Al-Masyhur

ٱلْلٰهُمَّ صَلِّ صَلَاتَكَ الدَّائِمَةَ العُظْمَىٰ عَلَىٰ صَاحِبِ المَقَامِ الأَسْمَىٰ

O Allah! Bless with your perpetual magnificent blessing, the one with the loftiest position

سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ ٱللّٰهِ الَّذِي أُسْرِيَ بِهِ في الْلَيْلَةِ الظَّلْمَا

our master Muhammad ibn Abdullah ﷺ who travelled in the dark night

وَعُرِجَ بِهِ في المَلَكُوتِ المُعَمَّىٰ

and ascended in the unseen dominion

حَتَّىٰ بَلَغَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ

until he reached two bow lengths away or nearer

وَنَالَ عِلْماً وَحِلْماً وَحُكْماً

and was gifted knowledge, clemency and wisdom

صَلَاةً وَسَلَاماً دَائِمَيْنِ مُتَلَازِمَيْنِ عَدَدَ الآلَاءِ وَالنَّعْمَا

bless him ﷺ continually as many as Divine favours and blessings

وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّم

and upon his family and companions
